Script Name: Markets - Player Owned Stores
Framework: QBCore, QBox, ESX
Dependencies: ox_lib, oxmysql, ox_target, qb-target, ox_inventory, qb-inventory
Description:
This script turns the shops on your map into player-owned businesses. Players buy a store, restock it from a warehouse market whose prices move on their own, set their own retail prices, hire staff, and sell to real customers around the clock from a full-screen desktop-style computer inside the shop. Unpaid weekly bills put a dead business back on the market, and robbers can crack the tills for a share of the register. Every location is built in-game through an admin panel, with nothing to edit in the config.
Features:
- In-Game Location Builder – create and edit every store from the /marketadmin panel with an in-world point picker, plus a preview mode that marks every saved point in the world before you save.
- Four Store Types – grocery, supermarket, electronics and gun stores, each with its own catalogue, tax rate and map icon. Gun stores check for a weapon licence before selling a firearm.
- Dynamic Warehouse Market – restocking prices move on their own server-wide, rising when owners buy heavily and cooling back down, with a live trend arrow and a countdown to the next update. Smart owners buy the dips.
- Direct Delivery or Truck Run – order instantly, or take a cheaper truck run where the server spawns the truck at that store's own parking spot and validates its real position before unloading.
- Desktop-Style Management PC – a full-screen computer with draggable, resizable app windows that open side by side, and a wallpaper the owner can swap for any image link.
- Stock, Shelves and Price Control – separate limits for units in storage and how many products can be on sale at once, with retail prices locked inside a range you define so nobody crashes your economy.
- Self-Service Shop – a clean storefront with images, live stock counts and a cart. Cash lands in the robbable register, card payments go straight to the secure vault, and the store earns whether the owner is online or not.
- Employees and Custom Ranks – hire nearby players through an accept prompt, then build your own ranks from eight independent permissions.
- Five Upgrade Tracks – bigger storage, a bigger vault, a permanent order discount, extra shelf slots and stronger till security, four levels each, paid from the store vault.
- Weekly Bills and Repossession – miss the weekly bill twice and the third failure puts the store back on the market, so abandoned shops never stay frozen under inactive players.
- Multi-Till Robbery – set one to six tills per store. The take is locked in when the robbery starts and split evenly between them, so cracking one and running only earns a share, while clearing them all takes time the police can use. Difficulty scales with the store's security upgrade.
- Dispatch and Loot Options – alerts through cd_dispatch, qs-dispatch, ps-dispatch and rcore_dispatch, and loot paid as cash, items, or a single item carrying the value in its metadata for laundering scripts.
- Statistics and Logs – revenue, profit, a seven-day chart and best sellers, plus a full action log with Discord webhooks, each switchable to keep a busy database light.
- Built for Full Servers – no loops running every frame, peds and targets only exist near players, all data cached in memory, and every action validated server-side.
- Fully Translatable and Configurable – every word in the interface lives in one JSON file, and store types, price limits, market behaviour, upgrades, bills and robbery rules all come from the config.
